Filippo Corsi is currently the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of the group after being Vice President Legal Business Affairs and Litigations at Hitachi Rail STS in charge of the legal support to the group’s business, litigation and compliance. Filippo started his professional career in Arthur Andersen, where he worked in business consulting, moving to Baker & McKenzie Law Firm as an Associate with a main focus on M&A and Corporate practices. He joined Finmeccanica in 2003 as Manager for Special Projects and Financial Transactions, and was involved in the Group’s main M&A and financial activities. In 2008, he was appointed Head of the Legal Department of Finmeccanica UK Ltd, where he worked until August 2010, reporting to the CEO. He has served as an officer in the Carabinieri Military Corp.
He graduated in law (110/110 summa cum laude) from La Sapienza University, Rome.
He obtained a Master of Laws from Cambridge University (2003); a Diploma in Business Accounting from the London School of Economics (2003); and a Master of Business Administration – MBA (2008-2010) from the Imperial College in London.
