Ansaldo STS has made available, on his website, the fourth edition of its Sustainability Report (for 2012) to the public, its shareholders and specialists in the field, and has launched a new iPad application with more institutional contents.
The Sustainability Report not only describes the activities undertaken by the company during the year along with the main successes and objectives achieved, but also bears witness to its commitment to increasingly important issues, such as relations within and outside the company, respect for the environment and sustainable economic growth.
In 2012, Ansaldo STS took part in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), an international project that aims to promote the transparent communication of information on climate change by large global companies. Also this year, Ansaldo STS renewed its commitment to the Global Compact, the United Nations corporate sustainability programme, in approval of its fundamental principles. An electronic version of the document can be downloaded from the sustainability section of the Ansaldo STS website.
Ansaldo STS has also developed its new iPad application, now available from the application centre and on our website. www.ansaldo-sts.comMembers of the public will be able to save and download all the documentation and content on the corporate website, www.ansaldo-sts.com, and use it offline, providing increasingly easy and quick access to information.
CEO Sergio De Luca pointed out that sustainability is becoming more and more essential to our culture and behavior as we pursue our mission of developing rail and metro systems through ever more advanced, safe and environmentally-friendly products.
