Italian High Speed Network

The High Speed / High Capacity system currently under construction by Italian Railways consists of a new network of railway lines running from west to east and from north to south of the country.

French High Speed Network

Hitachi Rail STS,  historical partner of the SNCF (France National Rail Operator) entered the Europe Rail HSL business as of the very beginning with the first HSL  Paris-Lyon commissioned in the early 80’.  To date, Hitachi Rail STS has equipped 100% of the French HSL network with the recent commissioning of the Tours-Bordeaux HSL and Le Mand-Rennes HSL running with the ERTMS most advance signalling technology.

East European High Speed Line (LGV Est)

Hitachi Rail STS has been awarded the complete development of the signalling part of the East European High Speed Line project.

High Speed Line Madrid-Llerida

In the year 2000, ADIF (Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias of Spain) entrusted Hitachi Rail STS with a contract for the signalling and ATC systems for the new High Speed line connecting Madrid to Lleida.

Paris - London High Speed 1

The Channel Tunnel Rail Link is the first High Speed Line signalling project completed in UK. Ansaldo STS, already leader in High Speed signalling in Europe, was among the main actors of this important project.
